UCU strike day 3 report: Someone brought our picket some fairy cakes  Quiet at our building today as most staff are opting to stay home, whether they're striking or not. I would place about 50% of this being due to the weather though (our building's a fair walk from anywhere commutable). Feel like I'm getting better at the upsell: this is more than pensions, this about equality, workload, and security etc... & have people 'thinking about' joining the union. I guess I have a week to see whether that materialises.
