Fate zero is good Fate stay night (anim) is bland I have not watched UBW (TV), but the movie was ok. The VN is wordy as heck. That is my analysis, of the fate franchise

Fate/zero anime is good if you like grim and frostbitten ultra serious poo poo (I do) but will probably grate on you like hell otherwise F/sn original anime is awful, UBW anime is okay and worth a look but not like mindblowingly good or anything, UBW movie is also awful VN is good but also longer than loving War and Peace so uh e: it's actually almost two War and Peaces, W&P clocks in at 600k words and F/sn has one million

it was cool, how mikasa got tons of development after eren died in the space of like five minutes, and she was immediately situated to become a strong lead, and then eren just popped out of the titan and she instantly regressed to scarfcuddle mcnobunaga

You may still not like it, but at least it'll give you a more accurate taste of the show then two dudes walking around in a circle lecturing at each other.
