Watching videos from the various youtubers who've played this at any real level I've noticed xbox players seem to be the dumbest, having no clue how to play this game online and standing still more often than not to get picked off easily. *edit: new page, Papa Scorch bless

I can’t speak to this game in particular but as someone who has recently switched over to mainly playing FPSes on PC, it’s really not as daunting as you might think. The skill ceiling on PC is definitely higher but the skill floor also seems to be lower ime. You’re going to have bad players on any platform and on PC they don’t have the aim assist crutch to fall back on.

I wish I could disagree since I play on Xbone but... you are dead on. I've seen people with tags/skins that suggest they've played for a long, long time and yet they do stupid crap. Some of them are super young so I think some are the kids of people that bought this game and moved on but others? I have never had ANYONE with a mic that wasn't either under 14 or some dude letting his background echo. Bloody annoying. One of the kids that was 12-13 was trying to troll so I had some giggles teaching em how we did it back in the early 00's. That was kinda fun. Sorta.

I’m not one to watch others play games but I found videos by iniquity, who plays on Xbox, to be good at demonstrating and offering tips on movement when I first started out, plus he doesn’t have an obnoxious voice. That said I feel you’re probably right because I don’t think I’m that good but generally do well on Xbox even if I haven’t played in a while

Nothing really concrete but there's rumors flying around that there's a new Titanfall game being announced this weekend and launching this coming Monday, called Apex Legends.It's been described as a free to play Battle Royale game, teams of 3 with 60 players in a match. Hero based classes with unique abilities similar to Overwatch characters. Microtransactions for cosmetics, but can also be obtained by ingame currency. There's not really a lot of proof of it other than word of mouth and speculation, so obviously take it with a grain of salt. Basically there's a Youtuber that I've never heard about post a video describing this new game, he's reached out to Respawn who have responded but haven't gone out and denied the existence of the game. Shroud and Dr Disrespect recently streamed TF2 and supposedly were involved with some beta test event in LA. Personally I'm not sure how I feel about a Titanfall BR game but I'd be open to see what Respawn does with BR and Titanfall's movement mechanics. A lot of this post seems like  but man I'll eat up any info on a new Titanfall.

Possible that if it's BR based on Apex Predators then there won't be any pilot parkour movement, though that might be weird. Like, Titanfall set dressing or something? People have compared it to Siege and Blackout, which I guess is a good sign. Here's hoping this is some kind of segue into TF3 down the line.

I haven't played any of the Battle Royale games but I'd be willing to give a Titanfall game a shot. TF2 had an 8 player FFA mode some time back where you needed to collect batteries to get your Titan, I hope this is not that but on a larger scale.

It’s dumb to have Titanfall without falling titans, but the pilot game was always the meat and so long as they keep fast paced wallrunning action it’s all good. Maybe get rid of the first 10 minutes of the battle royale weapon hunt in favor of a giant glorified free for all. Or if there is one have the weapons be in the hands of grunts around the map to justify having grunts to mow down between other players.
