What's the final definitive word on matching elements in PvE? I know that "Any Energy" drops shields the same speed (faster than Kinetic), and that Matched Energy triggers an explosion when you drop their shield. Does the explosion damage the target, or just the surroundings?

I think i ruined myself on any exotic armor by getting the "your jump jets last hella longer" legs as my first one. Whenever i try another one im like "this is nice but now the game sucks because i cant magically float away from all my problems"

Im almost universally bad at online shooters pvp but ive been really cleaning up in crucible using: Does not compute - long range high damage scout rifle, for long range stuff Refrain 23 - well rounded auto rifle, for close range And paying more attention to the radar than I think i should, its so goddamn easy to guess where someone is or is going in this game with the radar. I have a sword for power weapon and mask of the quiet one as an exotic armor but I stink at anything other than killing with those two main weapons.

Nah in pretty much any shooter with radar you basically spend 90% of your actual time looking at it if you don't want to eat poo poo constantly. It would be interesting to see what this game would feel like with no radar at all - would probably be much more immersive / tense at least.

On the bright side I have no problems taking down MIDA users.
