Man I don't even want to do my favorite movies of the 00s because the 90s was a god drat treasure. But here goes: 02 City of God 03 Bad Santa / Master and Commander 04 Spider-Man 2 / The Spongebob Squarepants Movie 05 Kung Fu Hustle 06 Borat / Children of Men (tough to say which is the greater cinematic triumph) 07 There Will Be Blood (very good movie to watch with your dad) 08 Hamlet 2 09 Dogtooth (very bad movie to watch with your dad) 10 Greenberg 11 Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

So, I just saw a trailer for the new Luc Besson film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. It says it's based on "The graphic novel that inspired a generation". I've never heard of it. So obviously I'm not the generation that it inspired.
