It's easy to see how it happens lol. Commentary gets write ups, does prep work, and research on notable players in the game. Dude being a foster kid, would definitely show up in that work. So yeah you figure after he makes a big play or in downtime as a player profile you bring that information up to try and put a human face on it. Then it's just a matter of the human brain doing what it does best, making inappropriate connections and seques bypassing conscious thought. Alternatively he worked on that line and thought it was a bar.

Linear cable is doomed. We are coming close to the end of these carriage disputes. By 2030 a bloodbath of legacy cable channels will have dried up and faded to black because no one paid the stupid price demanded to watch it in the first place.
