I did look through old pictures of me to post and continue the theme we had going on but it just made me realise how much cooler and thinner I used to be.

This is me and my younger brother when we were about like 5 or 6 or something (I'm the one with dark hair):

Then this is when we were young teenagers, like maybe 13/14 (everyone has a long hair phase). That's my (now deceased) grandfather, grandmother, dad, and my youngest brother:

This was me in my early 20s when I drank a lot, and spent a lot of time in bars, this was a new years eve (note: That is not my younger brother, that is in fact a girl):

And finally to come full circle, this is me and my brother at my grandmother's birthday party last year, as you can tell our lives had lead greatly divergent paths:

Worth noting while my brother can play a bit of the piano I can only play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and that entire last photo was a FAKE

If anyone can tell you about these lakes it's me. First quoted is Bow Lake, second is Lake Louise, both in Banff National Park. Bow Lake is about a 30 minute drive from Lake Louise. I live near them and am a completely obsessed nerd with regards to montane geography. I based my minor on local mountains and poo poo. I won't go into extreme detail, but the colour of these subalpine lakes is caused by glacial flour, it's an ultra fine suspended limestone powder from glacial scouring of the peaks above that reflects certain blues and greens in sunlight.

Everyone knows freckles are cute.

Its also the in thing to use models with freckles and hipster like clothing right now. Don't ask me why but they are in a lot of the fashion ads here in London.

Did anyone else see the trend thing about people getting freckes tattooed on now? I always wanted freckles.... and recently found out that I actually do have some on my face, I thought I had like enlarged pores or something but nope, it's a spattering of freckles. Not very noticeable though.

Anything with an open bar and grey goose is good in my book :getin:

One of the pre-actual-meal buffet servers had a kick rear end pot roast thing and I ate like seven plates of it and wasn't hungry by the time the filet mignon came around, but I regret nothing. I love pot roast. :downs:
