He got thumbed in the eye and his eye popped out of the socket. He takes the mask off to pop it back in then holds it in with his eyelid.

The best part of this was that the eye was totally fine afterwards. They had to put a metal plate in his ocular bone or something to keep it in, but he can still see out of that side just fine, it wasn't affected by being punched out of his head by Stan Hansen.

I seem to remember reading that he started getting severe issues in it...

Like, fifteen loving years down the road.

Vader is barely human.

I vaguely remember him mentioning he lost a bit of peripheral vision directly afterward, but he was told to put a patch on it for a few weeks after the plate was put in, like how you fix a lazy eye in children, and it came back fine.

So yeah, Vader is a legit badass.

Well it's Christmas, and I'm stuck in Dallas a thousand miles away from my friends and family. It's me, my pug, and my ChromeCast. I thought I would treat myself to an ROH ringside membership as a little Christmas present to me from me. What are some good shows to check out?

does ringside give you all the shows on VOD? that's pretty cool if true. imo roh doesn't get better than the czw feud and there's some killer shows right at the beginning (tag wars, arena warfare). 2006 was a really cool year. but i was also 15

It was a pretty well done interpromotional feud. The sheer amount of heat Danielson got when he showed up in CZW is amazing.

I remember him having a really good match with Benoit in ECW, but that doesn't really count, because The Benoit Multiplier of Match Quality.

Uhhh...I think he had some good matches with Taz in ECW too.

If you're referring to the Snow vs Benoit match from Double Tables, it was on a WWE DVD, I watched it years ago and didn't like it. Maybe I'll give it another watch.

It's one of those matches that is pretty decent now but probably blew some minds when it first aired. Like a lot of ECW stuff that isn't Americanized Lucha, it aged poorly.

I can't seem to find it on youtube, but I've always been partial to the Hardcore Evening Gown Match vs. Droz. Both of them seem to be having a lot of fun, and Droz made sure his seams were straight on his stockings.

Surprisingly, WWE has a quick playlist/clip show of Liger in the WCW HERE

Jushin Liger vs Brian Pillman and From Superbrawl
Jushin Liger vs Great Sasuke from the Super J Cup 1994 (Part 2)
Jushin Liger vs Great Muta
Jushin Liger vs Ultimo Dragon (Part 2, 3)
Jushin Liger vs Hayabusa (Which isn't the BEST match but I like it anyway)
Jushin Liger vs Sano (Part 2, 3)

Almost any match he had against Sano or Brian Pillman is worth watching, I didn't even start with the great tag-team matches he's been in either.

I can't gush about Liger/Owen enough.

I mean, it's just so crazy ahead of it's time. Guys like Punk and Daniel owe so much to Liger's style, then you watch that match with Owen and remember that at the same time, that year's Mania was Hogan vs Slaughter.

The best starting point is the "Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen" DVD that the WWE put out, but due to Benoit related reasons isn't avaliable now. If you're lucky and can find it on youtube the documentary section has a lot of the promo's relating to the group, but the matches on the discs aren't actually that good.

Match wise I couldn't find a lot of the classic matches on youtube or daily motion but the ones you're looking for are:

Any of the Andersons/Rock and Roll express matches, in particular the cage match at Starcade.
Dusty/Tully first blood at the Great American bash
The midnight express against Arn and Tully
Horsemen vs Road Warriors/Nikita Koloff/ Paul Ellering and Dusty - wargames

Promo/angles:
How it all began - the Horsemen break Dusty's leg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2Bv3ZjgvpE

The Horsemen get upset with Dusty taking liberties with Tully so they decide to have a reasonable discussion with him in the parking lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_KCuwQrsmw
The Horsemen talk about how they like having sex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA5arwOq3jA

Ninety-one? There are ninety other "Tiger Drivers"? Do any involve actual tigers, or driving?
More classic Liger:

vs Ohtani
I like the 97 match better but can't find a stream of it, Ditch has it though.
