The main thing I remember about Waters career at Missouri is he got a scary neck injury at the end of the game against Alabama on the sidelines and Saban & Pinkel said screw it and ran the last kneel down without bothering to get him all the way off the field first.

Not, like, as a bad thing really, they just wanted to get the game over and let the medical people work on Waters. But it's what I remember about the guy.

Ideally we could land one of the ones who didn't rape his mind with bath salts.

I don't think there's a limit, but you have a total pool of money you can use and once you've signed a bunch, higher priority ones are going to avoid you because of the competition.

Jaguars have signed safety Craig Loston from LSU and linebacker Christian Jones from FSU. I would have been happy if we drafted Jones in the 4th, god knows what made him fall.

He might. Seattle is pretty lacking for O-line depth right now. If nothing else he has a good chance of getting on the PS.

laffo awesome. You can be assured that an Iowa longsnapper has a ton of experience. They'll probably cut Hitchens and keep him.

RT Brett Van Sloten is close to a deal with the Ravens according to one of the Iowa beat writers. He was an okay college play but probably not a pro. He's also from the town I went to undergrad in, and when I was briefly a education minor I student taught his biology class for a month. Really nice kid. And gigantic.

They aren't usually this deep. A stupid number of underclassmen declared this year (because the NCAA won't pay them).

I can recall being broke with some friends in Tennessee and deciding to have a party and being able to afford only two-fifths of a $1.75 bourbon called Two Natural, whose label showed dice coming up 5 and 2. Its taste was memorable. The psychological effect was also notable.
