I'm fairly pleased with mine, personally E: you should put links to the matches into the OP

I've kind of given up on divining the mechanics of your programming, but am excited to see them. I am, however, feeling much less clever about my own.

I seem to have misplaced my code. In the interest of and also sating curiosity, would you be able to post it, Rancher? At least the base code (most of my changes were switching my default or my 1).

PM's code 9. If TRAP = 1 and TRAPHUNTER = 0, throw sign that beats own last sign, TRAPHUNTER = 1 and TRAP = 0. 8. If lost last turn, and CHECKTRAP = 1, CHECKTRAP = 0, TRAP = 1 and throw sign that loses to own last sign thrown. 7. If TRAP = 0 and opponent's last 2+ throws were Rock, set CHECKTRAP = 1 and throw Paper. 6. If TRAP = 0 and opponent's last 2+ throws were Paper, set CHECKTRAP = 1 and throw Scissors. 5. If TRAP = 0 and opponent's last 2+ throws were Scissors, set CHECKTRAP = 1 and throw Rock. 4. If TRAP = 0 and opponent's last sign beats own second-to-last sign, set CHECKTRAP = 1 and throw sign that loses to own last sign thrown. 3. If TRAP = 0 and opponent's last sign = opponent's sign fourth-to-last sign, set CHECKTRAP = 1 and throw sign that beats opponent's third-to-last sign. 2. If TRAP = 1 and TRAPHUNTER = 1, throw sign that is beaten by own last sign. 1. If last turn was a draw, throw sign that is beaten by own last sign Default: Scissors

That's a complicated one and not at all what I was imagining.

In retrospect, I probably should have consolidated 7-5 into one conditional, then I could've had more room to wiggle. I think my big issue was that my code was designed to trap people trying to prey on repetitive patterns, but I didn't let my code become repetitive enough to trigger it.
