My first exposure to Bas Rutten was his self-defense DVD, long before I started watching MMA or had any context as to who he was - I put it on for the possible laughs from an amateurishly produced instructional video, instead what I got was half a tutorial on how to murder someone during a donnybrook and half a court-admissible confession of several felony assaults committed by Bas Rutten Did the man ever have screws to loosen in the first place
