The preparation to become a national officer is grueling." Doss spent several hours a day for the last six months preparing herself for the rigorous series of interviews, presentations, speeches and papers she was required to develop while at the convention. Along the way, she traveled to Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia and elsewhere to broaden her knowledge of agriculture. She credits several people for helping her achieve her goal, including TTU alumus and TTU Foundation Board of Directors Chairperson John W. Rose. Doss is recipient of the Jerry and Betty Williams Rose Scholarship, named for John Roses parents. In addition to his generous contributions to TTU, Rose also is president of Nashville-based Boson Software LLC. He served as Middle Tennessee state FFA vice president while a student at TTU and paved the way for FFA members such as Doss. "John has made everything possible that Ive done in FFA beyond high school. Through the scholarship that he provides, Ive not had to have a job through college. Ive been able to train, improve, focus on FFA and focus on school. That scholarship has made all the difference," Doss said. He has also coached me during my preparation, which has been extremely helpful. Just lol if you aren't routing your sugar baby payments through your parents' charitable trust. Mega64 posted:Amazing how blatant the bill's intent is. It's using a very thin "MUH RELIGION" cover to justify this poo poo. Which, hell, aren't many child marriages in the US justified with religion to begin with? Which child marriages in the US? There's maybe a handful of states that would permit a person younger than 16 to marry at all, or younger than 18 without parental consent. This would be something that you would need to bring up with the State Legislature that signed them into law, not the local Baptist church. Anyone who chooses to use the Christian religion (let's be specific here) as an outlet for legal child slavery and grooming is not a Christian and is loving lying to you. They must be some other fucken religion. Like maybe a satanist or some poo poo in which they abuse the concept of "fundamental religious freedoms and protections" and try to get child slavery protected by the State. I would maybe look into who's sitting in that State legislature because I betcha if you ask the citizens they would tell ya "ain't nobody voted for that poo poo".

The christian god represents humanity's sense of morality. If humans think it's perfectly alright for adult men to marry little girls then God will be all for that and condemn anyone who objects as an evil demon who must be destroyed because they're rejecting the word of God.

The Christians are child groomers. The Catholics are pedophiles. The orthodox Jewish people literally suck baby penises and Islam stones gay people and women students to death. Religions are almost all universally poo poo and anyone who willingly joins them and even worse defends them are morons. And those are just the major ones. Then you get into fringe nutjobs like Scientologists (even more pedo protectors) and Falun Gong (ruining the planet with right wing extremism) so sorry but your entire post was poo poo not to mention the entire way you've been living your life. That is not how anarchism works, that's the loving Joker movie. There's a 200-year history of anarchist theory, as well as anarchist societies. Also the majority of the anarchists I've run into are queer and trans people and there seem to be almost no such people among the tankies so that's wrong too. Anarchists today are also very big on decolonialization, something Global North Marxists pretty much never talk about because the idea that there are many entire peoples who do not and do not want to live as laborers in an industrial society or be part of the global accumulation system doesn't jibe too well with the idea of a universal industrial workers' state.

I figured they were poo poo too, I just didn't speak on them since I wasn't aware. Thanks for reassuring my gut instinct. I am legit going to read up on it. I'll never be into religion but if I were I guess it might have been Buddhism because they seem peaceful. I remember when Patrick Duffy's (the actor) parents were both murdered (at the peak of his career) for simply kicking a drunk out of the bar they owned. Both his parents murdered and he said Buddhism made him at peace and he's not even mad at the murderers. Stuff like that seems very healthy for a long life, but I pretty much figured they're poo poo too. Also my brain doesn't usually take to being forced into believing something anyway so I'd probably give up in three weeks. “When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad.
