Why does he have three front teeth.

There's a whole theory about his center tooth and how it is a sign of some defect or something that ties to his insanity. I remember briefly skimming it long ago.

I have three front teeth, and I am also just as attractive as Tom Cruise

(I had a lot of orthodontic work done that included having teeth pulled and realigned, and as anyone who was watching Entertainment Tonight back in the early 2000s knows, Tom Cruise had braces too)

It makes me chuckle how people are ranking the most viewed trailer. It reminds me of the Guiness Book of World Records showing up for "loudest stadium". It's just going to get broken in like five minutes.

I mean, Buddha Jones' trailer IT is the most-viewed trailer of all time in 24 hours.

It broke the record set by...The Fate of the Furious.

It will get broken again by the next Star Wars trailer if not sooner. I don't get it. And I say that as a fan of the Guiness World Record Holder for Loudest Fans in both NFL and NCAA. :smug:

I'm on my iPhone so didn't see a preview, but I already knew what the video was before I clicked the link.

I'm not convinced the subtle details are as extensive as noted in the video.

I mean, sure, it's maybe a bit over-the-top, and every on-screen performance is always a careful balance of acting and editing craft. But I still think it's a really solid video that has a lot of merit to it.

Those logos seem as tacked on as the "colorful and fun" fonts and logos they used to make Suicide Squad look visually something other than sewage filth it was.
But other than that, the villain already looks generic as gently caress and will probably dissolve into aether by the end of the film. And jesus christ those green screen effects. The arena scene looked like a fan film or something. Yeah I know, I know, effects aren't finished and all of that. Well, the trailer was finished and it looks like poo poo. I had some hopes because of Waititi and the crazy cast but nothing in that trailer looks new or fresh.

Going for the GotG vibe eh?

I didn't care for the first two Thor movies but I like Hemsworth as Thor - his bit at the end of the trailer got a laugh out of me.

Ehhh... I read a bit of Thor, and one of the comic's things was always going full, hardcore gaudy. The 80s stuff really fits it. Remember, this is a movie where the capital city is made of gold and you travel there on rainbows. Bright and colourful's been its thing.

And yeah, they're definitely swerving towards the GotG look, but I'm willing to see what Waititi'll do with it, it feels a bit different.

It makes sense to tie Thor to GotG. You need to tie the general Avengers world to GotG before Infinity Wars, and Thor is by far the closest link.

Can't wait. This movie looks like a ton of fun.

I for some reason thought I was hearing the Wonder Woman theme. Which would be weird for a Marvel trailer.

It's going to take time to recover from Thor's dark roots being exposed but holy hel that looks like as much fun as I was expecting from the moment I heard Thor-Hulk buddy movie.

Also thought Cosmic Goldblum was going to be in Guardians 2. I'm sold.
