ex post facho posted:why hasn't the NFL capitulated to adpatches? seems like it'd be an even bigger windfall for owners since AFAIK they don't have the same sort of BRI split the NBA has NFL does revenue sharing, players are guaranteed a % of the revenue, and NFL players have benefit and retirement funds that don't show up in salaries (but are more significant than other leagues). Overall Players ends up with about what NBA players do. NFL jersey patches would not only be shared with players, but other teams. Have fun convincing Jerry Jones to bite.

The Iverson one is my favourite. It actually looks decent - why doesn't he have hair like that? He needs to put more Harden beards on people.

I dunno not knowing about this cancer charity beforehand and only knowing that they ponied up the huge amount to put their logo on an NBA jersey makes me think they're one of those scam charities that spend like 90% of their budget on fundraising and overhead

Lockback posted:You can get from Austin to San Antonio in like 90 minutes though. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs it would take 2 hours to get to the United Center, easy, and I was still in the same county. I argue against people who say Chicago needs a 2nd team because it was frequently faster to get to Milwaukee than it was to get downtown. For some but there are a lot in the Chicagoland area who could get to a second team there more quickly. They could put a second team in the suburbs. Maybe in Peotone next to that planned airport. Also, that would avoid the new pop tax threatening Cook county.
