I prefered the blue UI over the green as well. Much easier on the eyes. Though yes, strictly speaking the monochromatic green display would've been more in keeping with the theme of Fallout. Also why the gently caress is my phone suggesting 'Falloutverse' is a word?

I don't know man, no supergore is gruesome in it's own right. Like, it's more realistic, but is that better? Would you rather a clobber a dude in the head and have his dome bust like a pinata and spray cartoonish amounts of blood around, or would you rather thwomp a guy and he falls to the ground motionless and you can just imagine he's taking shallow breaths and his eyes are rolling around while the concussion you gave him fills his brain-cage with blood

I mean, that was someone's face that got oblivirated. I imagine his or hers relatives coming to the morgue to identify the body, and all they get to see is bloody bits that used to be their loved ones head. Maybe I should just stop playing games.

i just hope fall out 4 has ? no vignette no DOF no motion blur no film grian no sewers and it wil lbe a prety good game. I used to hate "bloom" but it can help in some games 9like witcher 3, it doesnt look bvad) but vignette/dof/film grain are f'in dumb

Motion blur looks great when the game is running at a solid, high framerate. It got a really bad rep from early games that used the effect while simultaneously running like poo poo so you'd have motion blur smeared on the screen for 1 extremely long frame and look bad. Newer games with better methods look great without dragging the performance through the mud too.

Depth of field and motion blur are great when used properly. If done correctly you don't even really notice them. Bloom is always awful though.

So there will be behemoth sized monsters. Lvl 50 max lvl, so 50 perks. Then a choice to blow something up. Join 3 factions and thier quests. Seems all boiler plate.

You know that just because the achievement is for a certain number of something, it doesn't mean that's the maximum amount of it, right? I seriously doubt the game will only have 10 sidequests, and they've already confirmed more than 5 companions. I think they also said there's infinite leveling.
