Basically Sylvanas (the current leader of the Horde) decided to go to war with the Alliance for no good reason, and burned the Night Elf's tree out of childish spite. The colossal island tree they had their city and most of civilization in, and barely anyone got out alive. So, you know, a colossal war crime. It's followed with an Alliance assault on the ruins of Lordareon (where the Forsaken, the free-willed undead players, have their capital city) and involves Sylvanas turning a toxic gas on her own soldiers to turn them into mindless skeleton warriors... before blowing up Lordareon with more zombifying gas just as a gently caress-you to the Alliance. Which is another war crime. Against her own people this time. Blizzard's trying to sell the story as "They destroyed one of our cities, so we destroyed one of theirs and it's all ON NOW!!", except nobody in the playerbase is buying it. Everyone's rightfully pointing out that Sylvanas is responsible for both cities being destroyed, and being a war criminal who should've been deposed the moment she tried burning Teldrassil (the Night Elf's tree-island). Even lore-wise, there's a pretty big variety of reasons none of the other Horde races should be wanting to do anything with Sylvanas except murder her and the Forsaken right now. Let alone any reason for for the new expansion's races to even consider signing up with the Horde (because BOTH SIDES NEED ALLIES TO WIN!!!). Immodium is an opiate that doesn't cross the blood brain barrier in humans, so you can't get high but has the same anti-poop effect as other opiates. Unless you mix in something I don't remember, a thing that lets you get high from the immodium. If you take enough you OD and die.
