Here's all the roles, plus who submitted them (sometimes) Gulag: You are the Dark Baby. Every night, after all other actions have taken place, you can swap the powers of two players, be they living or dead. this does not swap alignments. So if player A was a town-aligned busdriver, and player B was a scum-aligned rolecop, player A will, after the night concludes, be a town-aligned rolecop, and player B will be a scum-aligned busdriver. --- Squiggly: You are the PR-Pinata. For every vote placed on you beside your own, you gain a random one time use power. If you are lynched, everyone who voted for you gains a random one time use power. --- AA role PM: You are a Chickenmancer. Each night you may target another player to grant an Egg. If that player lives to the next day phase they become a chicken, and are notified that they have become a Chicken. You may use a base chicken at night to watch another player of your choosing. This replaces any action they may have planned to take, and they receive the result of the action, not you. You watch Player Name and Players A-C visited them. Instead of using a base chicken at night, you may give it another egg. Should that player survive to the day phase. They become an hen and are notified only of the flavor that they are now a Hen. At night you may use a hen to jail a player. This replaces any action they may have planned to take, and they receive a target success/failure PM. You successfully jailed Player Name/You failed to jail Player Name. Instead of using a hen at night, you may grant them another egg. If that player lives to the next day phase they become a Rooster, with a 1x - day vig. The player is told they have become a Rooster, but not that they have a day vig. You may send the moderator a PM, preferably ##CLUCK and a player name, to have the Rooster kill that player publicly by pecking their eyes out. Instead of using your rooster to murder another player, you may grant them a final egg. The egg of destiny. You abscond from the game having won regardless of alignment, and that player publicly becomes an Elder Hen. Their new role will be publically announced. If they make it to the end of the game, they also win. Summary: Chickenmancer: Can give an egg to player at night to convert to Chicken. Can give egg to chicken to evolve to Hen. Can give egg to hen to evolve to Rooster. Can give egg to rooster to evolve to Elder Hen. Chicken can watch a player at Chickenmancer's behest, and the Chicken receives the result Hen can jail a player at Chickenmancer's behest, receives result of success/failure. Rooster can day vig a player at Chickenmancer's behest. Done publicly. Elder Hen. You win. Target becomes a powerless chicken. They have to survive to win. Can have 2 fowl at a time, but good luck trying to get two chickens and keep yourself alive. Your goal is to execute all evildoers, or to turn some body into an Elder Hen. --- DB role PM: You are the Alien Queen. At night you can visit a player to infect them with a chest burster. This will cause them to cop as Alien-Aligned (Like you do) and change their action into infecting another player. They will neither be told who you are nor any of the changes. After two nights, they will die, releasing a fully grown alien in the process. During the day, you can expend 1 alien to kill a player. The first kill each day can be done secretly via PMing the mod, all others have to be done via ##kill (player) in the thread. Your goal is to have no un-infected players remain alive. --- You are Ninja Santa! During the day, you can give a player one of the following abilities: 1x dayvig 1x nightvig 1x cop 1x pgo The recipient of the gift will be announced in the thread. At night, you can replenish one of these items by visiting your workshop. You are Al Snow. You are self-aligned and win by either surviving until the end of the game, or when you fulfill your personal win condition. Momentum Builder What does everybody want? What does everybody need?: For every player alive with Head you generate one momentum. You start with 3 points of momentum, you do not have a momentum cap. Ability Give Head: As an N0 and a night action for the cost of 2 momentum you may give a player Head. If at any point in the game all other players have Head, you win the game regardless of if you die. --- You are the Cowardly Sniper. If you are the sole person to Target your target at night, they die If anyone else targets your target that night, all other visitors are announced (the cowardly sniper is not announced) Can day cop but cannot perform a night action that night (result should be conveyed at the end of the day) --- You are the DEATH COP (Paranoid Gun Owner Brutal Cop Lynchbomb) Okay apparently there is a mafia in town and it is doing bad things or something? You are not clear on the specifics but that is okay because YOU HAVE A GUN and any sumbitch that so much as looks at you cross eyed is going to EAT HOT LEAD. Presumably once you have murdered sufficient people the problem will go away. (Note: Caps lock is mandatory.) --- You are the Paritymancer Each night following a successful lynch, you may choose to perform The Ritual. If you choose to use this power, you must guess whether an even or an odd number of Scum were voting for the lynched player at hammer. Declare this by casting “#Perform the Ritual ODD” or "#Perform the Ritual EVEN” in a message to the mod. You will then Visit the living players with the Most and the Least posts in the game. If the parity (oddness or evenness) of your chosen Ritual matches the parity of scum on the previous lynch, then the Biggest Lurker will be burdened with the Scumhunter Curse, and becomes aware that they must successfully contribute a vote toward the successful lynch of a Scum every day or die (see below). If the parity of the chosen ritual does not match, then the Top Poster will instead be burdened with the Scumhunter Curse. PM for Curse Victim: Alas, you are in great danger. You have been burdened with the Scumhunter Curse! At the end of each day henceforth, if you are not voting for a Scum who is successfully lynched, you will drop dead at the moment of the hammer. Notes: The Paritymancer result is "The Ritual was successful" or "failed", and is NOT told whether the top or bottom poster has been cursed (and thus whether the parity was odd or even) unless the victim declares it the next day, or else drops dead at a future hammer. If Town, it is up to the Paritymancer to draw inferences from the behavior and fates of the top/bottom posters affected by The Ritual. The Curse is more interesting than a simple lurker-vig because it spurs urgency to contribute (if victim is Town), if victim is Scum, and the curse presents a dilemma to bus. This role in the hands of Town can be a powerful way to punish Scum who lurk. If a Scum is the Paritymancer, it presents a tempting dilemma (since they know parity), it could be used to Curse a Town for potential extra kills, (which might spur them to scumhunt harder, but more likely will kill them), but also exposes the Scum Paritymancer to more Track/Watch/PGO risk since they Visit two players. Jedit: You are the Medium. The Medium has access to the Ghostdoc while still alive. You may talk to the dead at any time. --- You are the Fibber. During the day, if The Fibber makes a fakeclaim of a valid standard(ish) role (up to mod discretion, you may ask if a role is acceptable) then effective immediately at the end of that day. You will actually become that role for that night. (so if you claim watcher and live, you can watch that night). Each power can only be used once, and claiming nothing, JOAT, or any variation of deathproof will give you no powers. Trueclaiming turns you powerless permanently. --- You are the Dungeon Master. Once per night, you may ##roll the D20, which will have the mod roll a D20 on a public dice rolling site or Discord dicebot or whatever and apply the result from the table below. Results may only occur once per game. If you happen to roll the same number twice, the mod will reroll until an unused result is received. Natural 1 - Despair! You lose your ability to roll the dice the next night. 2 - Stealth! Receive a oneshot ##dodge action. Using this will allow you to hide on a subsequent night. This may be used in addition to ##rolling the d20 3 - Ambush! Send the following message to a random player: Roll for initiative. 4 - Investigate! Receive a oneshot cop. This may be used in addition to ##rolling the d20 5 - Death save! Remove 1 mortal wound. If you have no mortal wounds, reroll. 6 - Wild magic! Bus drive the night actions of two random players. 7 - Performance! You may transmit a message to the entire thread, posted by The mod. 8 - Transmogrify! Transform a random player into a chicken, blocking their night action this night phase. 9 - gently caress, traps! Receive a mortal wound. Three mortal wounds will result in your immediate death. 10 - Bardic Inspiration! You may ##empower the night action of a player of your choice, making their action unstoppable & unblockable. This may be used in addition to ##rolling the d20 11 - Necromancy! You may enter a Discord chat with a dead player. You may only talk with them for a total of 5 minutes. If no dead players exist, this action is lost forever. 12 - Alchemy! Receive a Poison Vial. You may ##poison the flagon of a player of your choice. They will die in two night phases. This action must be used in place of your ##rolling the d20 on a subsequent night. 13 - Open OGL! You receive a random one shot night action from another player's role PM. 14 - Magic armor! The next killing action that would result in your death is instead blocked, whether it is a day action or a night action. This effect wears off at the end of the next night phase. If two killing actions hit you at the same time, you are unfortunately dead. 15 - Lay on hands! The most recently lynched player is brought back to life as a stump for the subsequent gameday. They may only post 5 times, at which point they die. If two players died at the same time at the end of a game day, RNG the target. 16 - Great roleplaying! Receive a one shot ##inspiration. You may adjust the result of a subsequent die roll by 1 in either direction, and may apply this after seeing your roll. 17 - Goblin arrows! Receive a mortal wound. Three mortal wounds will result in your immediate death. 18 - Berserker Rage! Receive a oneshot dayvig. 19 - Taunt! Choose a target to bodyguard this night phase. Their night actions are redirected to you. If this option is rolled, a player must be submitted to bodyguard. Natural 20 - Critical success! In addition to your normal roll action on the following night, you may also ##roll the d10, letting you receive a second result from the 1-10 results in addition to your D20 result. This d10 roll ignores the "once per game" restriction. D10 rolls for oneshot items may be used immediately during that night phase, but non-item results (messages, mortal wounds, natural 1, etc) are multiplied by 2. Solus: You are the Masonry Gunner. You have a day action to ##vig someone, with a 33% chance of successful vig, 33% chance of inviting the "vigged" person into an unconfirmed masonry that persists after your own death (not masonry ghost, just that the masonry will survive), and 33% chance of the vig backfiring and self-vigging Sober: You are a Serial-Killing Forensic Investigator You begin the game with a 1x night vig. If you use your night vig successfully, you will be granted a 1x Forensic Investigator. You may use this as a night ability to target a dead player and be told the names of any player that visited your target. If there are less than 3 living players that visited your target, this ability will produce false results. Once your 1x Forensic Investigator is used, you will receive another 1x night vig and the above process can be repeated. If at any point a player tracks you to a kill or receives information through night actions that you visited a target you kill, you will be killed. This cannot be prevented through doctors/redirects/other actions. In addition, if you claim any kill in-thread (factually correct or not) you will be modkilled. --- You are the Petty Hate Machine: Once per night, you may target a person and give them the Hated status. This status will duplicate onto any player that targets or is targeted by that person, but not more than once. In short, this role can affect any number of players but only one anonymous vote will be added. You are permanently Hated. All Hated statuses caused by your role disappear when you die. Example: D1: Joe is Hated. N1: Joe targets Alice. Bob investigates Joe. Carol roleblocks Alice. D2: Joe, Alice, and Carol are Hated. Bob is not Hated because he targeted Joe, not Alice. N2: Joe targets Jeff. Bob investigates Carol. Alice kills Smitty. D3: Joe, Jeff, Bob, Carol, and Alice are Hated. Joe is day-vigged: All Hated statuses disappear (unless they were provided by another source). You are literally the Chronomancer from Throne of Lies and nothing else. Your powers are: 1-shot day action: Pocket Dimension - If you die tonight, delay it for two nights. Night actions: Time Warp - Delay a player's death for two days (including poison). You can delay the same death multiple times. Delayed deaths can be prevented by heals or death immunity. Cannot delay strongman kills. Distort Reality - Transfer all deaths delayed with Time Warp to another player. This does not count as a visit. --- You are the Jack of all movements. Choose one player. That night you see who visits them and what action was performed. You also learn who your player visits. Watcher/tracker/voyeur combo. --- Epsilon You are the hosed-up role-swapper person Once per night you can target two people other than yourself. Those people swap

Good game to Squiggly for winning with legitimately the best possible role for scum to have. The rest of this game was a cavalcade of mistakes and dumb ideas, myself included. also this further proves my working theory of "always vote against the option that makes sense in a three-man LYLO, it only makes sense because the last scum has engineered it that way"
