You go to Bellevue if you gently caress up your exit off the I-5 when you want to go into town or if you gently caress up your exit off the I-5 when you want to go interview at a company in Redmond. Saline is 0.9% salt by weight vs water. You can add that together and boil for tap or distilled water generally. This is for a neti not a cpap.

At some point in the last day, Twitter has apparently switched to being entirely unusable without an account. Previously you could still browse the site without an account, just with a lot of annoying popups nagging you to log in. Embeds on SA and elsewhere still seem to work, but since I don't have a Twitter account anymore, I guess a lot of threads are going to be much more annoying to read now.

He probably thinks the idea of thousands of online articles with embedded tweets no longer working (unless you’re currently logged in to Twitter) is pretty funny. He probably also thinks it’s going to get more people to sign up and maybe even subscribe to but I think he is wrong. What few advertisers are left on there will now be getting even less views than they were, which hopefully will cause even more of them to pull out. They also made some kind of API change so that even the people paying $42,000 per month for that aren’t getting what they paid for, which might cause lawsuits? As well as people deciding to stop paying that insane fee. I don’t believe he genuinely wants to run the site into the ground, but if he did, he couldn’t do much more harm to it than he has.

Recap of decisions today: Religious bigot website designer wins on 6-3. Lot of goofy poo poo involved (she made up a fake gay marriage creation request) but Gorsuch et al simply said "welp, that's speech" and it's going to be fun the flood of bigotry coming out of that one. And the Supreme Court tossed Biden's student loan relief plan. One case was tossed for no standing, then they invented standing for Missouri/MOHELA and that was that. Law is what five fuckers says it is and right now they have six of them.

I live in the rural south tho so it might just be lax enforcement. My last boss admitted to me she thought I was 26 when I left that company, even though (due to how our group had been set up) it was very obvious I had been with them for 10 years. So I guess she thought i started when I was 16?? I was likely passed over for raises/promotions because of that BS. No way to prove it at this point, just hearsay from folks that told me as I was walking out the door.

The six conservatives wanted to kill it, so they did. The reasoning to do so, like creating standing with no injuries, is completely irrelevant. They're doing it because they can.

I'm generally getting better about this stuff, because about 25% of my brain engages the logic to figure out What It All Means, then the proper 75% takes over. So when I see this: https://twitter.com/awprokop/status/1674791319275962369?t=YIsq1IwzoUmwwiiXbfgdMg&s=19 "Well ok this reasoning may make sense for overstepping determ- HEY WAIT, NO, gently caress YOU JOHN" Both of these cases were conservatives doing their favorite trick lately - making up someone to get mad at. A website maker *hypothetically* asking to make a website that they didn't like. The Missouri AG filing a lawsuit because he *thinks* MOHELA would hate it (they didn't). Anyways, next step may be Biden loving with loan repayment rates, as those are likely fair game.

And most times they'd gently caress around because there were minimal penalties for finding out, or they just didn't give a gently caress. I'm not necessarily saying Biden should do that, as his route to reelection probably includes being "boring" and "normal". But they should look at every single loving thing they should do to give the court the middle finger. Set the interest rates at 0%, make tons of indefinite-postponement options for borrowers, etc. Because slippery slope arguments are absolutely in play with this current court. They do not give a gently caress about standing, precedent, or "case or controversy" doctrines. Six fucks deciding what goes when they only need five.
