Having to put a price on every single card is way more bothersome than just tapping a phone. Steam - or Enhanced Steam - ought to have a "Sell Everything At The Lowest Price" button.

Steam Inventory Helper (I think… one or the other) does, but even then, there's no “select all” in the confirmation section of the app, so you stil have to tap your way through pages upon pages of poorly laid-out and sluggish card listings to confirm everything.

So sluggish. And if you select too many cards at once, good luck with the submit button. But I still do it because my Steam wallet must have pennies, all the pennies!

Turns out the ACTUAL C&D reason is for OpenIV's tools being capable of being used to gently caress with GTA Online rather than a slam against modding in general. Single-player mods are still fine.

A lot of people have said this is an outright lie on T2's part

but I don't know GTA or its modding scene personally so idk

You think you can take me at Satan's Hollow? Go 'head on!

This is pretty petty but still hilarious.

It's also pretty hilarious that Take 2 C&D'd the Open IV project which had nothing to do with the online hacking problem, and did it very publicly. Then a little later they also quietly did the same with Force, the actual source of the online hacker problem.

Neddy Seagoon posted:

Yeah, no. Open IV was a scripting system or something that was used exclusively for really cool offline mods. The online stuff was mostly a set of hacker tools called "Force" like I stated above. But they dealt with that now too. The problem people have is with them loving with singleplayer modding.

Like was said that can be the reason they claim but openiv has nothing to do with online hacking because it's single player only.

Makes much more sense that Take Two would attack the tool because it allows you to use multiplayer only content in single player. Kind of hard to do singleplayer modding when the tool that is needed for that singleplayer modding is no longer available :v:

The Take Two debacle resulted in a petition with over 40K signatures: https://www.change.org/p/rockstar-games-save-openiv

It also has GTA V currently sitting on a Mixed review score on Steam which I find to be equally impressive. Turns out, people really love their mods.

MMM THAT FAUX LEATHER
Is it weird I'm strangely excited for AC Origins? I played Brotherhood, ignored everything until Syndicate (that I got free with a ssd purchase), and now that they've taken a year off and redid the combat and ui, I'm interested. It doesn't have to be goty caliber, but Ubisoft games always scratch my gamer ocd something fierce.

e: outside of the E3 stage bit, I avoid consuming all the extended gameplay video and assorted trailers, and never set my expectations too high, so that might help?

And Syndicate was tons of fun, but again, the last AC I played was brotherhood so I was ready for it.

That's probably the most perfect route of AssCreeds to go through. Even though 4 was well liked, you can just google up 'sea shanties' and boat combat and skip the modern-day slogfest sections as well as the Ubisoft open world filler.

I can understand that, but if you take advantage of seasonal sales and make out a ton of badges, you can then fill out a bunch of seasonal badges for extra levels. The initial badges being about two quarters and the seasonals being worth a lot more. I have been getting a booster every other day and most of them sell for more than a dime and spend that on big sales.

Siralim 2 is free on Android this weekend but it's also on steam. It got linked in the roguelike thread but it's most of like an endless grind RPG with monster summoning and breeding and some cool progression elements (build your castle, gain favour with 15 gods, do some side quests). It's really good.
