Okay, yeah, Franco is barely even attempting the accent. Jarring, a little annoying at first, but probably a better idea in the long run. EDIT: Actually, I hear it on second viewing. It's still so obviously Franco that it's hard to buy into him, but on the other hand, how do you do that voice and have an audience take your character seriously? While doing it in a room with 50 people having fun and screaming sometimes funny poo poo at the screen while drunk. It's very cathartic. Also his voice is funny and awesome to do. I tried it at a screening with Greg and it ended up being a hit apparently.

I'm kinda conflicted on The Snowman. It looks gorgeous and the trailer makes it interesting, but the trailer also makes the serial killer stuff look like a parody is serial killer poo poo. I haven't read the source material though, and there's gotta be something there if Scorsese was into it at some point.
