How about for people who don't care about slapfights and think that Donald Trump is hilarious and everyone who supports him is a mouthbreathing retard with nothing sensible (according to all available evidence) to say?

Because that is what I think. I just want to watch the Republican Party burn

I'm so sad that Jeb! isn't in the game anymore :( in entertainment value, he could go toe to toe with the Don

Only thin entertaining about Cruz is the myriad ways the human species, regardless of race, age, gender, sexuality and political orientation express their hatred of him.

Not great reading comprehension because no, thesaurus was using hugbox to moan about the thread being mean to him while also complaining that it wasn't his hugbox anymore (it never was a safe space for him he just slid under the radar and didn't get probated so much).

The way I see it, there are a number of ways the Trump Situation could resolve. Listed in order from most likely to least likely;

1. Trump gets the nomination by the skin of his teeth, the GOP pivots to tepid support of him. Hillary gets the Democratic nomination and wins in a landslide, possibly even taking the Senate back.

2. Same as #1, except Bernie gets the Democratic Nomination. Even bigger electoral landslide.

3. Trump gets the nomination, GOP puts forward a 3rd Party Establishment Run, pivoting Left on Social Issues in an attempt to pull Moderates from Hillary or Bernie. Dems have biggest Electoral win since LBJ v Goldwater, but might have more down-ticket losses. In addition, that 3rd Party run would draw enough votes to garner Federal Funding in 2020, effectively creating a New GOP.

4. Cruz steals nomination, Trump runs a 3rd Party Campaign. GOP broken, massive Democratic Victory in November. GOP might actually be forced to Reform.

5. Neither Cruz nor Trump secure the nomination, with it instead going to Kasich, Rubio or Ryan. Trump and Cruz both bolt the Party, with at least one of them running 3rd Party and attempting to sabotage down-ticket races by running 3rd Party candidates against them. See #3 and #4 for how bad the GOP would be hosed.

6. Trump gets nomination, GOP pivots into total support. Hillary gets the Democratic nomination, but botches a number of debates and campaign events. Somehow, everyone forgets how much of a poo poo-heel Trump was during the Primary. Trump successfully pivots to the Left, somehow winning the Presidency despite demographics being stacked against him. Would probably get impeached or assassinated in his first term.

7. Cruz steals nomination, Trump doesn't run 3rd Party. Cruz looses even bigger than Trump would and the GOP is saved for at least another 8 years.

8. Trump wins nomination with a similar situation to #6, except he comes out as transgender at Inauguration after winning the Presidency. First MTF Lesbian President!

9. Cruz steals the nomination, causing a massive surge of conservative fervor to sweep him into the White House, ushering in 1,000 years of Darkness.

Please, only about a third of the thread.

And I don't need a safe space for anything, I am not voting in this election. I am not even eligible to vote in this election. I don't even live in the same hemisphere where this election is happening. Hillary is boring and Bernie Sanders is a low-rent version of the actual socialists I personally vote for.

It's 100% entertainment for me, and once you have seen one Trump supporter post you have seen them all. Repetition and observing insane morons is not in fact entertaining for more then a short while.

I think you've left out the most boring (and IMO likely) scenario, in which Trump gets the nomination barely and goes on to lose the GE to Hillary by a surprisingly 'normal' margin of like 5%. I think an actually popular and likable Democrat could beat Trump in a landslide, but not Hillary.

Nah we determined that Cruz is Dick Dastardly. I guess The Don could be the Yankee Doodle Pigeon the rest of the Vulture Squadron (GOP) fail to intercept.

Maybe Muttley is Kasich in this, hoping to screw over DD once the pigeon is caught.
