With all the G/O media poo poo going on everyone is trying to figure out a sustainable model for online journalism since Google and FB hoovered up all the ad revenue and this looks like one extremely likely and repeatable path. Sure they got started from a philanthropist, but only $1m of his own money and another $4m he raised from donors. Mean while softBank out here valuing office AirBnB at 74 hojillion dollars based on nothing.
