Heard about nine remixes of this track at a fest last weekend. Just released officially this week. Absolute barn burner of a track.

Niiiiiiiiiiice, glad to see he's still at it. Endtroducing is a god tier album and one of the strongest debut albums ever, though this track has a different feel for sure.

New San Holo track too:

Man, the new Chemical Brothers tracks haven’t left my rotation since they were mentioned last page or so. I like the Maya Jane Coles remix of Live Again even though it doesn’t really seem that different, just some filters and slightly different drum sounds. Has a bit more of a bassy vibe

It's alright. IDK what I expected but it doesn't fully do it for me; the intro is a bit out-there even for my tastes and when it finally kicks it 's... just alright. Very catchy melody though. I think I'm gonna put on Beck's Dreams en route to the cottage today though.

It's a piece of JUNK!
I'm not the biggest Chemical Brothers devotee, but this album definitely feels very... "pure"? Like it's definitely, unmistakably them. I have no idea if they've fallen off in recent years or whatever, but I've checked in with them now and then. I guess I've never really disliked anything they've done, I should probably revisit them.

The moment the beat really drops in on "The Weight" (about a minute in) is friggin sick.

"Feels Like I Am Dreaming" is like, perfectly annoying in a way that somehow doesn't seem like an insult?

Just doing my first listen thru now and “Goodbye” is giving me goosebumps, just great. It reminds me of Lorn or Clarke with the sawtooth but then the drums come in and yep that’s the chemicals.

The new James Blake album also came out last night and I just listened to it. Way more electronic focused than the singer/songwriter stuff he was doing on his last album.

Giving the new Chemical Brothers album a quick listen before heading out to a friend's party. Yep, Goodbye is fantastic. I only wish those drums were louder and breaksier, but it is 100% old Brothers.

EDIT: OK, The Weight is a loving JAM.

The new RL Grime album loving _slaps_. I haven't heard 'festival trap' music that gave me goosebumps and made me reach for the volume dial like this in ages.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in1jbk34caQ

There are a few tracks on it that defy your expectations with trance and hard style 2nd drops like that of the above tune. There's also plenty of straight-up breakbeats:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Midui0XZaPs

Chrizpy Chriz also has a new album out and it's straight fire, very eclectic with UKG and trap and dubstep vibes, decidedly more chill than the above but not without its own aggression. I could see this playing well on the 40Hz Soundsystem:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L9TY1U3JeA

And you don't need me to loving tell you this but Skream's new LP is spectacular.

I guess you get a sneak peek at the new setup now, too. I just had it all on for fun this time, but I really need to buckle down and start using all of the new gear. I think my cameras might be on their way out :( One of them flashes a green frame here and there and the other appears out of focus, grainy and smeared like low-res (it could just be the lighting situation messing with the ISO). Anyway, I had a lot of fun putting this one together. Enjoy.
