if you draw an exploding kitten card, you lose however, there are some cards which make you not lose so basically, pull a card, and hope it's not a certain card, because then you lose and cannot play game with friends ~My 2.5 Million Dollar Idea~

my sister got me a card game for xmas called we didn't playtest this at all it's basically a gag gift bc it's unbalanced as gently caress. we played three games in five minutes and it stopped being funny after the first time. i doubt i'll ever take the cards out of the box again what i'm saying is it's still deeper than "exploding kittens" and probably didn't cost 2 thousand bucks to make, let alone 2 million

there is a definite niche for near-zero setup games that you play absentmindedly while waiting for other people to show up or when too drunk to work on a more complex game. kinda like love letter. but the insta-lose when you draw a kitten but don't have a special card in your hand thing is just dumb. actually the whole thing is dumb.
