I voted Lib Dem once, in 2005, because the incumbent here was a do-nothing New Labour shiter (now happily ensconced at Holyrood as a list MSP) and the Lib Dems were the only party with a chance of beating them then. Obviously I quickly came to regret that, what with that MP now the Chief Secretary To The Treasury in a Tory government. Yeah, I learnt my lesson the hard way. Voting solely to remove an incumbent often results in new guys just as bad or even worse. So thanks Danny Alexander, you really opened my eyes.
