I have seen so many runs end trying to bounce off this slime. I'm not going to be the slightest bit surprised if this run ends here.

as an aside, the way the life bar works in this game defies all of my years of videogame conditioning and i don't like it. it's like watching an egg bounce. shouldn't happen.

I thought it was about there being horse meat in it, but this means it's a pun on even more levels and so it appeals on even more levels to the paronomasiac in me.
(Note: in Denmark, you can find horse meat in regular supermarkets, so it's pretty normal)

My dad ate horse (and dog) during WWII, so I'm not weirded out by "weird" meats to most Americans.

America needs more lamb. Now that I actually know how to cook gyro, it's basically the best thing ever.

I'm actually allergic to lamb. I don't know what happens when I eat it but when we did the general allergy test when I was a kid the reaction was huge. I hear it's good though.

It's actually a thing in some European legends that giving undead a proper burial ritual will put them at rest permanently.

But I mean, this is also from Japan so gently caress if I know.

So my dad was about six when the war ended and then twelve when he was finally able to get out of starving, post-war Europe and come to the States so I don't appreciate double entendres in this situation, thanks.

I'm definitely not missing out on Transistor though, love that game too much.
