If it's going to happen, it'll be soon - this malign portents thing is the best opportunity. And the Skullvane Manse wants to be the centerpiece of every Mordheim table, It so completely needs to come back.

poo poo I have hosed up. My Mannfred's sickle is facing too much in wards so he does not go on his mount. Freezing and placing a glue dissolver on the arm did not work. Wonder if GW would be willing to send me another Mannfred. Should I try?

K here is Mannfred with some lovely pictures.      mango sentinel posted:GW customer service is great when it's something they hosed up. They are unlikely to replace even the arm if you hosed it up, let alone send you an entire rider (I don't even know if he's his own sprue in the kit.) Though I do have something they did gently caress up that now that I am thinking of it, I should contact them about. (Some screamers of Tzeentch that are missing the part their bases plug into.)

True I will say though that I do hope that a decent writer sits down turns AoS into something more than just a vehicle for Sigmarines and legacy WHFB stuff. It has potential but currently lacks a sense of scale, stakes or corners of the universe that exist outside of the "Sigmar vs Chaos" dichotomy. Luckily they've been expanding the setting with Kharadron Overlords and the subtle implications that Nagash is turning into the Norse goddess Hel creating another point of conflict besides "gold dude vs spiky dude"

I’m annoyingly hyped for the reveal tomorrow. They seem to have done a good job of keeping things under wraps. Am working on my Disciples of Tzeentch army and reading Sword and Hammer porn AoS stories. Jonesing for another game. Possibly prefer it to 40K even - formations and inter unit interplay is more interesting than flat AoE buffs. Also destiny dice rock.

Anyway we are now 9 hours away from finding out what Malign Portents is. Is it Age of Sigmar 2e with rules compatible with their current stuff. Is it a new and expanded Death Range. Is it a new Campaign (Well yes this one is obvious.) Is it the four new heroes and nothing else. Is it the return of the Old World to the setting. Is it Ghost Pirates. Who knows. But I am curious.

I'm not a fan of AoS but I'm glad they've finally explained the Mortal Realms, cuz until now it was so vague it made it difficult for me to even have any passing interest in the setting, but giant-rear end flat planets connected by
