It's like 2016 wasn't done loving with us yet, had to really kick us in the guts. Today was normal, got some raking and grocery shopping done. Everything feels weird without our cat sticking her nose in. Planning to get a new pussy cat from a shelter in the new year. Here's a pic of our girl from a few days ago.

yeah. it's just gonna suck a loving lot for a while. there's no good news so far, only really really bad.  on a better note we may be getting another pupper. there's a pregnant cocker at one of the rescues that turned up; she's in decent shape for being unhoused. i offered to foster her; we'll see!
