God what an intro.

It's a shame the N64 didn't have the capability of properly rendering Alex Wright and his talents.

I believe you'll find it accurately represented his time in WCW.

Goldberg getting The Giant up was legit impressive as hell.

BAEST MODE!!!
I know Goldberg has no gas tank but one of the dumb things about his WWE run is they don't have him do kicks or any cool suplexes. Even if you don't want him superkicking, just have him throw his cool back kick to the gut and do that pump handle in those three minutes instead of 10 spears.

this glorious monument

In any of his matches in WWE has Goldberg done anything but his two signature spots?
Even though Nash's powerbomb hosed him up (it did, didn't it? That's not kayfabe bs? I don't remember) I imagine the jackhammer was probably one of the scariest spots Show has ever taken from his prospective. Anything that involves him being upside-down really.

Yeah, Nash dropped him right on the back of his head and neck.

I wonder how many necks were broken/concussions were given by the Steiners from this move. gently caress I feel like I get one every time I see one of these.

I also like that the Japanese crowd is just sitting there nicely watching wrestling with no reactions

(I know there's no way of no knowing this since concussions didn't exist in wrestling until like 2018)

My first memories of Alex Wright were with him feuding on WCW Saturday Night with a young man named Jean Paul Levisque and I hated that bastard. So Alex Wright is good.

Also Alex Wright may or may not have been in that Horsemen Knockoff stable that may or may not have ever actually been real. I'll always remember that thing that didn't actually happen fondly.

The one with Jarrett and Debra before they left for WWF? Yeah there was some super short lived stable to gently caress over Mongo.

I was too young to keep most WCW memories outside of the big poo poo (nWo, Vader loving ruling, being a little Stinger) but the 2 memories that I cherish are Alex Wright and 2 Cold Scorpio whose music I would mark out for every loving time.

Alex Wright was like Ivan Drago to me who I thought was the most bad rear end at the time, so it sucked he was usually jobbed but we always got his entrance and swagger

and gently caress how could you not like 2 cold as a kid

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Kg-2yQ77Ss

edit: drat 2 cold had a really impressive move set, he seems kind of slow but you didn't see those types of flips back in the day. His 450 is better than Rico's too

Yeah. I think the rumor was that Debra with start it with Jarrett and Wright was with Debra so he was in. Then like Malenko would join as the nega-Benoit and then I think the rumor varied as to whether the 4th would be Eddie or Benoit turning on the Horsemen.

I just know I was new to internet wrestling rumors and I was way into that thing that never actually happened but kinda did. I think Eddie, Jarrett, and Wright were on screen together once or twice. Or Dean, Jarrett, and Wright. Or maybe I made it all up in my head.

2 Cold Scorpio made me a wrestling fan. I grew up laughing at WWF and all the stuff my friends were into and then one night I was flipping channels and I saw the coolest motherfucker in the world doing poo poo I had never seen and was wowed.

Then I saw him in a 6 man tag with Ice Train, Ron Simmons, and the Harlem Heat and was shocked that many black dudes were in wrestling. And Bagwell.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hml0Nu3X0s

And then WWF made him a pimp.

If I absolutely had to take it, Scott in his prime would be my choice. His thighs are massive and that's basically your only chance.

Apparently he still wrestles too (or did as of the last wiki edit).
