There's no way any scheme presented in that patent is in Destiny as it exists now because you can't even loving see the weapons people use unless you stand still for 30 seconds so you can dig through the menus. The closest Destiny gets is telling you the name of the gun that killed you.

And there's no facility in D2 to let a player buy a specific premium item, the engrams are all RNG and the items selected for sale appear to be the same for everyone.

I have so many duplicate exotics, ugh. Even on my titan which is my main character, I just got like my fifth skullfort, my third crest, and I got those stupid smg boots at least five times. On the other hand I've never gotten synthoceps, that spooky helm that I forget the name of, or the dunemarchers
