I like Smash because it's a fighting game for people who like platformers and I don't understand why there aren't more games like it except for a couple of crappy PS4 knockoffs.

Because Smash is actually lame as gently caress. In seriousness though there have been attempts at Smash clone (poorly though) let’s face it people only want to play as Nintendo characters.  Only manage to catch the end of it and Kirby is faster than Sonic lmao. Another thing to add to the deep Kirby lore.

I think the main reason I don't like Smash is I've never found a character I click with. Like as lame as Playsation All-Stars was, I found a character I really liked in it (Toro) and while I've tried with smash, the characters always seem to simple or too complicated with no one hitting that sweet spot.
