I haven't watched an episode of SNL in 20 years but I did see the sketch in the OP because people keep bringing it up and you know what, it's really funny

SNL has been a dated format for a long time. Kids in the Hall completely blew it out of the water and it was old then too.

Sucks seeing Horatio Sans in these, cause he's been pretty reliably accused of grooming teens, and it's hard to imagine that many if not most the other cast didn't know since they went to the same after parties where he invited them

drat that sucks, I hadn't heard that before and always thought he was really funny even if he corpsed all the time. But gently caress him if that's true. Sorta like when I first found out Jay Johnston was a chud and was at January 6th, that was super disappointing as well. Story of Everest is one of the all time great pieces of sketch comedy and his physicality is a big part of why it's so good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6H_uyNFbb0

There didn't seem to be anyone from the cast calling him out (who knows what he has back on them from these parties), but I hadn't seen anyone defending him either which is usually the case unless it's real obvious/bad that he was doing this kind of thing.

They had 10+ seasons of original ideas (wow 1 sketch resembled another) and you've not seen any of them. I'm guessing your type of comedy is indeed corny placid SNL slop
