Ah, butthurt Chicagoans. Look at any quality of life survey and notice what the top 10 cities have that Chicago doesn't. Um, easy access to natural areas such as mountains, plentiful and reliable public transportation, optional car ownership, lack of food deserts, large swathes of the city that aren't crime riddled hellscapes, etc. Every major city has museums and parks that are more park-like than Millennium and Grant Parks.

Despite not having lived there since I grew up, New York is still my favorite place in the world but honestly I don't know how anybody likes it if they come as a tourist. Most of the tourist stuff sucks rear end and is incredibly expensive. Everything that's great about New York is off the beaten path a little. Like, for example, pretty much all of Brooklyn.

Pretty much every European city I've lived in has been cool, Utrecht > Amsterdam forever though eat it sukkels
