Lately people have told me that my speech has consisted of words that sound Russian in origin. I had not been aware of this. When I try to think of my childhood memories, a location that appears to match that of Vladivostok comes to mind. I do not know how this will end, but I fear that other Bernie Sanders supporters may have suffered a similar fate.

To be fair, it's pretty obvious that the Democratic Party is specifically looking for a PoC candidate in an attempt to replicate the success of Obama. Like, the main two people who come to mind when thinking of "obvious Democratic presidential hopefuls" are Cory Booker and Kamala Harris (and the thing with Deval Patrick just came up recently). So if the Democratic Party specifically targets PoC politicians as presidential hopefuls, it's not much of a coincidence that those are the same people who are going to receive focus from the left.
