It makes sense to at least announce D2 around the start of AoT when alot of players are coming back for a month or two with a full reveal in June at e3. Edit: September 8th is a Friday though. Not sure why people have boners about vendor rotation, especially after Bungie got good at putting curated guns on the vendor. How pissed would y'all have been if the vendor palindrome was hidden behind a weekly RNG after the recent sandbox update? Just seems like one of those things where it looks like a good idea at first.. then you start to think about the implications.

Not that pissed since it means you wouldn't see it on 50% of crucible players and with the three dozen or so weapons available across all vendors there'll probably be a decent or better roll on something each week. Vendor rotation seems like a badly needed sink for legendary marks and a way to shake up the meta essentially for free more often than quarterly balance patches.
