It's totally possible the medical uses are p-hacking, I haven't looked at the literature. I am not making claims about that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurofeedback, So, we have basically a consumer grade EEG headset, some software, and data from playing around with it. It's lighter, fewer leads, not attached as well as the kind you'd get at the hospital for epilepsy. The headset monitors your brain waves in real time, and normally in a therapists office there would be some kind of display. Maybe you are learning to relax, so they have some kind of brain training program that encourages you to create brain waves that deepen relaxation, and there's some visualization that shows you when you are doing it right. What we want to do is create a system by which a certain brain wave triggers a mechanism to get the flame throwing to discharge. Right now we are fooling around with the headset and the math, and not so much using the flamethrower yet, but that part of it actually shouldn't be hard.
