Doesn't it frequently crash at 7AM, just from the normal weight of people trying to get fastpasses for their checking+10? I'm not sure what they expected to happen when they released 3 months of reservations all at once. (Also yeah I'm stuck on the just a moment page too).

Anyone get in yet? Still sitting on the 'Just a moment' page since 7am. Took 2.5 hours or so of bouncing around queues but I finally got in and got what I needed. Managed to snag a few days' of reservations for Labor Day weekend. I can cancel my resort up to a week without issue so we'll see if things are relatively safe by then.

Splash is my wife’s favorite ride, so she’ll be really sad if she can’t ride it one more time before the change. The change makes sense, though, and we certainly aren’t complaining. That being said...let me know when they change the explicitly racist parts of the park like Peter Pan.

fuckin yikes https://twitter.com/shawngorlando/status/1276209983382790144 if we want to hand wring about this, them saying (a couple times!) in the information we have that it's set after the last kiss is super weird, since it means no frogs, no facilier, and no Ray. I'd be happier with a straight retelling than the Frozen Ever After style excuse to sing all the songs, I think, but honestly that last scene is going to be phenomenal so who cares.

Hahaha the desecration of splash mountain. There's a food cart that's never open from adventureland to frontierland. There's tortuga loving tavern that's never open. GIVE US IN-PARK BEIGNETS. E: If you guys get caught in arguments with regard to Frontierland; Princess and the Frog is set in 1926. The end of the last Native American war movement in the "old west" was 1924. It is absolutely applicable for Frontierland, it's just a later era than BTMR.

It's a lot lighter than the "what made the red man red" poo poo, but it's still there. If they did a gentle facelift and removed it, I would be totally cool with that. I would also probably be really cool with a Moana touchup to it, too, if it wasn't Under New Management.
