Release the Kraken! a marketing slogan by a company that has the worst track record for releasing anything... period. Surely they must be taking the piss now. Put me down for $1495 on the Kraken price, brought to you by the chaps who's biggest release was half a wet fart after a curry night hosted by IBS sufferers anonymous.

My gods, its going to be terrible.

I like the idea of a carrier - it's so symbolic of the shitshow that is CIG and the idiot "visionary" in charge. A loving flight deck which I presume allows you to bulldoze ships off the side of it. A mobile version of the space stations they can't get working. A ship to carry other ships none of which are in game in working order, in a system with no flight model and no plan for one, run by a man who thinks you can swim in space by waving your arms. It also represents the fact that any money taken for their latest fraudulent offer will act as a carrier for CIG itself for some time. It's genius in its purest form.

im off to bed, but when i wake i know the world will be darker grimmer place. i feel bad that i find it so funny. i'll try remember they were all given free will, some people dream of tram simulators, other like to pretend they are making tram simulators and it makes the world economy turn. i should accept this as normal

big nipples big life posted:didn't they nix docking collars because they were too broken? I was just thinking that, actually. They did indeed nix ship to ship docking collars because they couldn't make them work. It's interesting that their workaround for the Kraken appears to involve just having a port olisar style landing pad slapped on top of the dumb thing.

# ? Oct 10, 2018 16:02 |
Actually, to expand upon that: they nixed docking collars and ship to ship docking for smaller ships. The Idris and Hammerhead theoretically retained their docking collars for attaching to stations.
