the first boss is a loving pushover. so is the second boss. they're tutorial bosses.
if you're having difficulty with the tutorial then maybe you should go back to mario kart
actually the first boss is arguably harder than a lot of other ones because the distance from the lantern to it is very high, makign it likely that new players will have depleted their resources before they reach it

i did this by accident after getting lost for an hour in the aqueducts and i also bumped into the second boss somehow. the first one is dead!!

i think all i have left in my first ds playthrough is tomb of the giants, dukes archives, demon ruins/izalith and the big tree/area under it. i should probably buy the dlc
The DLC contains the best boss fights so ya def get it.
Me and Bwatts slaughtered the snakemen, I was just depending on my whips range too much and their stetch arms were owning me. Way easier if I stayed in close so I could parry easier.

i did beat o&s in like an hour of actual attempts when apparently it takes some people weeks but i prefer to underestimate
oh man what a brutal roadblock that is the first time. and it also becomes the most fun fight in the game once you get the hang of it. its everything I love about souls

i just finished bloodborne~... gonna go do a dark souls 2 playthrough to do all he dlc i never played and then come abck and see if i can make a bloodtinge/arcane guns/spells only build work (probably not)

sorcery is a weird beast in these games. I've tried a couple of characters, and they can make the first half of the game a complete joke, but then all of a sudden a lot of enemies gets high magic def (good luck getting through lower sinner's rise without help). seems like fromsoft wants you to keep a melee weapon on you at all times. it's at least much more viable than das1 in my opinion

i'm pretty sure sorcery is better in das2 simply for the fact that you can use magic weapon on anything

Dark Souls is a fun game to play. I like using a big sword and just swinging it around and leveling up a bunch.
