When Mario World came out, everyone thought Yoshi was the coolest. I didn't know a single classmate who didn't want a Yoshi. He became uncool later when his design shifted to be more huge-headed and pot-bellied, right around the time Yoshi's Story came out. Emphasizing his weird-rear end high pitched noises in all the multiplayer games just sealed his fate as being seen as lame.

Yoshi's Safari was fun but that's mostly because it is to my knowledge the only Mario FPS game. mario's about to blow some fuckers away with his super scope

yoshi's story is cool. its not really a good sequel to YI at all but sniffing out fruits was fun when i was like 14 or 15 and very high. as a plus it didn't have those maze castles from YI that are frustrating and make you listen to the worst song in the game while you fumble around. as a con you have to listen to the yoshi chorus say "eat rear end in a top hat" or whatever on the level select screen.

  I am continuing to hope that it's 3D printed!! edit: The major indicator that it's fake is that the XYBA buttons don't use the lettering we've seen so far for the Switch. Dark Souls 3 is a game that came out this year. It was pretty good but I played through it once, then never played it until the dlc came out. Then I played through the dlc with the same character and put it away again. The game doesn't make me want to do dozens of playthroughs like the first game did. Dark Souls 3 status: not goty
