However, in this case, I am sure no one give poo poo nor does the seller expect this thing to get back on the road. Its for parts.

Actually the listing does say "for parts or restoration- only missing the oil covers" :haw:

Nice car and getting rare to find, but yeah too much. If you could get it for $5K and be OK with getting smoked by pretty much anything built in the last 10 years maybe.

My neighbor bought a 2009 Z06 a few years ago. It's a really nice car and done up tastefully. I saw him drive it twice the first year, and I don't think I saw him drive it a single time last year.

He lowers it down on his hoist most weekends (yes, he has a hoist for it in the garage), uncovers it, waxes it. Maybe fires it up and grows "vroom-vroom" in the garage. Covers it back up, raises it on the hoist. I am 99.99% sure that he bought the hoist just so his 7 year old can then go in the garage and he doesn't have to worry about it being scratched.

I just taught my kids from a very early age to be careful around the cars. They are allowed in the garage to get their bikes out and stuff, and I've never had one scratch on any car caused by my kids, and they are rambunctious boys. Doesn't hurt that they both love cars.

I used to just have the Studebaker and my motorcycle. Getting the Studebaker warmed up and ready took about as long as gearing up & warming up the bike, so I alternated pretty often.

Then I bought the Crown Victoria and kinda stopped driving the other two much, because it was just so easy to hop in the Ford. Shameful... I think I went for at least 3 months without riding. This is why I'm selling the Crown Vic.
