That guy's name was Ernst Rohm and I only know that because I met a friend at my local punk scene who seemed fine at first but turned out to be a literal Nazi admirer who thought Ernst Rohm was the best and I had to wrestle a gun out of his hands one night when he put it to his head cause he was a drunk psychopath who started exposing his belief in Hitler and authoritarian poo poo and when I didn't agree he was like "well I'm just gonna kill myself then" and if it wouldn't be me alone with a dead body and a gun I probably should have just let him do it This was like literally 12 years ago
