Been thinking about switching to feline pine / heater pellets, esp since roomate is going to be getting kittens and that is better for them. THe people I asked as home depot didn't know what heater pellets were though.

Feline Pine is my favorite but only really good if you have your cat's box in an auxiliary place like spare bathroom or back laundry room or something, somewhere with tile or linoleum cuz it turns to pine dust. I thought it was the best smell-wise I've ever used. Have to change it often cuz after they pee in it all it turns to powder, but you use so little of the pellets when you change it.

So, since I brought the cat to the vet saturday, I've been giving him like half a cup of food a day in his dish. Well, I don't think he's eaten for the last 2 days, but everything seems fine. Like, all of his food was still in the dish, except for a few kernels he knocked out. Is he re-filling the dish himself? Is he going on a hunger strike for more food? He's his usual active self.
