I always found it weird that the motto for chill play ended up as "Fly Casual": Because in the context of the film, it doesn't mean "Take things easy, everything's all good" but rather "Do something underhanded and hope nobody catches you." "Fly Casual" is one of those things where the context is important. There's the example you provided, and what FFG intended, but also I've heard it used as a complaint when two players are matched against each other with a huge disparity between skills. That situation in itself is a  but it's definitely a salty/sweet term.

easy counter to that list. Slowboat the opposite side they irreplaceable damage themselves with baffels, leave formation, or forget to remove the stress. Turn their dial to fly themselves off the board.

They don't need baffles. You can get things wedged way in there so that none of the shuttles can move and just bump each turn.

So far in practice matches it seems really good, having the TL allows me to take 1 or no hit shots and turn them into 3-4 hit shots pretty regularly, and usually frees me up for a defensive Palpy when I need it. Additionally it gives you this weird sense of freedom where you don't care as much if Fel gets hit once, because he doesn't lose much as a result (other than health). Most importantly, TC in place of SD gets me a 97 point initiative bid which seems like it'll be a big advantage in mirror matches. Am I crazy for not taking Stealth Device? Feel like I'm taking crazy pills, just had a conversation with one of the other tryhards locally about this yesterday for a few hours. What we came up with (as long as you have palpatine), match wise: Better matchups: Ace (especially an exact mirror where they have stealth) Gunner/Vader RAC Worse matchups: Omega Leader (MUCH worse) Uboats changes from "I can tank two torpedoes without taking damage at range 3" to "I can probably tank one torpedo at range 3" which is still probably fine Random round 1-2 jank you run into in swiss is probably a coin flip, but stealth device is the "safer" choice if you're expecting to be better than your opponent. It's definitely a good choice at worst, but in my opinion, it only really helps in the ace mirror, but if you're expecting lots of ace mirrors just bring whisper/RAC and win by default instead. If you aren't bringing palpatine, then I have no idea.

The Scum generic Firespray actually isn't a bad deal, 35 points for PS5 and an EPT, the only problem with it is that it's competing with a 36 point IG-2000 with higher PS, a better dial (no hard-3's but you get hard-1's, plus way better greens and S-loops), and also some really snazzy abilities even solo. I've actually played some Scum lists with a single brobot before and honestly, IG-88C or D with Autothrusters and FCS is a hell of a deal at 40 points. e; and of course brobots have 2 fewer hitpoints, but 3 green dice instead of 2. I don't know exactly how those numbers break down in terms of overall durability.

I've personally used x2 Bounty Hunters with a kitted-out Vader at a store champ a year or so ago (from memory I went 3-1 with it?), but that sounds like it'll destroy aces like Soontir so well, despite the Firesprays being low-PS
