I think half the poo poo goons got helldumped for back then was stuff no-one would so much as bat an eyelid at now. It was like 70% fetish stuff that no-one really gives much of a poo poo about anymore. The other 30% was pedos and other assholes we could do without anyway. On GBS the irony bullshit is bad, but the threadshitters don't tend to persist beyond the first two pages or so, so if anyone felt like actually making actual content threads like The Good Old Days, as long as they could power through the first couple of shits they should be alright. The main problem might be that no-one really feels like it or has time for it anymore.

I finally buckled up and made a GBS thread for the first time like a year ago and thankfully it went better than expected but it's still annoying when the whole first page is just "lol gay"  type poo poo, the joke isn't funny anymore, it was barely funny to begin with. Even if you want to poo poo on the OP, take a moment to actually post something creative. Crafting actual funny burns and dunks used to be what seperated GBS from all other random internet forums, then the 2.0 change killed that forever.
