chunkles posted:I had a very cursory look at the defensive ones, but they seemed to still be very dependent on team defense. Well, I think individual defense is mostly dependent on the role you have on a team as well, so I think that you'll never untangle those. Even offense is dependent on team.

Thanks everyone who answered my questionRick posted:Based on Suns v Lakers it doesn't feel like the guards are really working together, but their individual games are strong enough that it doesn't matter. It's interesting that you say that, because the sportvu analysis column on nba.com had some stuff about how the Suns offense succeeded without much passing. http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2014/10/16/measuring-ball-and-player-movement/

Andre Drummond has been in foul trouble all three games so far this year and just not really looking that great, this is supposed to be his year with SVG coaching him up Also the Pistons are 0-3 and ran an 8 man rotation tonight. Its nice to not have to see any more Joel Anthony but give us some token Gigi Datome topknot please Stan.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Durant and/or Westbrook were ready earlier in their recovery timetable but who knows. If there are 9+ teams in the west that end up with 50+ wins that's going to be pretty funny.

Well there's definitely been rumors that Boogie and Thomas didn't like each other, and if your franchise guy doesn't get along with someone then I guess it makes sense to ditch him. Really it makes more sense to find a system or a way to get your best players to like each other, but thats probably a lot to ask from a historically pretty poorly run organization like the Kings

I’m sure you’ve seen the comments from DeMarcus Cousins and others, about how the ball isn’t “sticking” any more, and things like that. Do you hear that stuff? Do you care? Isaiah Thomas posted:It definitely is a jab at me. I see it, and I use it as motivation. I don’t think too much of it, because I definitely wasnt the problem there. But I do see the shots thrown at me. I wish the people throwing the shots would say my name, but they don’t want to. I just go about my business and worry about what I’ve got to do with the Phoenix Suns.

I get that nobody paid attention to the Kings because nobody has any reason to, but IT leaving the team is because they gave him an assbutt offer, not because Boogie gave them an ultimatum.

Spoeank posted:IT leaves > someone asks if the ball moves better > it does, because Collison replaced a shoot-first PG > now IT is hurt because Cuz admitted it. Thomas averages more assists per game then Collison and is generally a better passer, as well as being generally better then Collison at just about everything else. In that article Thomas and Lowe both agree that if Boogie explicitly wanted Thomas back then the franchise would have gotten him back. I'm not saying it's true Boogie didn't get along with IT but it seems like a reasonable thing to believe.

Can someone explain to me how Ballstreams is still hosted? Like there is no similar service that is pirating MLB or NHL for cash. Does the NBA have a useless legal dept?

It's hosted in the Netherlands where there are apparently little to no copyright laws so it seems the NBA can't do anything about it

Ballstreams does the exact same thing for NHL. http://www6.hockeystreams.com/ MLB is a buttload of games and probably not worth hunting down some Pirates vs Reds game in June, I am guessing NBA and NHL have a better World-Wide appeal too.
