This includes the government, which is supposed to protect us from just such things. So if the very elective process is beset by lobbying interests, PACs, SuperPACs, etc, then none of it really works towards the interests of the common person. Less than 10% of americans contribute financially to any sort of elective process, local or federal (source: opensecrets) and the typical demographic make-up of said folks is upper-middle class to rich/middle-aged to boomers. So why not remove ALL money from the elective process and level the playing field entirely? How would campaigning work then? Well, it's 2019, and less than 10 percent of americans aren't connected to the internet, most of which are a combination of over 65, living under the poverty line, and in a rural area. So, there's no real reason all this campaigning can't be done over the internet and TV, which is how the majority of people make their decisions and gain their information anyways. All expenses can and should come out of our massive national budget. Sell 2 F22s, bam, there it is. Hell, dismantle and stop paying for the upkeep of 2 F22s, bam, there it is. Out of the 716 billion dollars gone over to the military in 2019 I'm sure some contractor shell corporation can do without. (Veterans certainly keep doing it). Anyone not connected to either a TV or internet at home can go to a library or have information mailed to them. Almost like a...real democracy of sorts. A true democracy? Brits already took real so I stuck with true.

I feel pretty strongly that the way to lessen financial influence on all our institutions is to start with our government. So strongly, in fact, that I want to start an Occupy (ugh, I know, I know, but please bear with me goons) styled movement to accomplish just that.

Feel free to critique the site as hard as you wish. I put it together in a day with literally no web design experience whatsoever with the help of a proofreader. (I am not good at this) I'm actually not good at much other than impassioned emotional pleas for sanity, which for the sake of attempting to be taken some kind of seriously, I am holding back on. Please discuss, help if you want to or can, but if your only reply is "lol", "you can't do it", or "don't bother", please keep it to yourself; I'm completely done with this entropy in our state of affairs. I am pleading with anyone who is interested, whether seriously or just topically, to please share their constructive criticism, thoughts, suggestions etc. If you think it's bad, dumb, not well thought out, needs a lot of work, etc, please let me know in detail how and why. I am dedicating all of my time to this and will read and apply everything that I can to help make a difference.
