Not gonna lie, I find myself saying 'To Wendys!' quite often just after I start to pull away from the drive/carpark space.

Birds do not want you to know any more than you already do.
Some good vault picks for December!

quote:

December picks are available now in your Gizmoplex Library:

Avalanche
Jack Frost
The Day The Earth Froze
Lost Continent
Swamp Diamonds
Alien From LA

Told my husband I wanted to watch Jack Frost this weekend.

"The horror movie?"

"No, not that one."

"Oh, uh... Michael Keaton? From the 90s?"

"No, not that one, either."

"Didn't Rankin-Bass make one? That was pretty good. Did you find it streaming somewhere? I know you wanted to watch a few of those."

"Not that Jack Frost either."

:negative: "... It's an MST3K movie, isn't it?"

I don't remember exactly why but the first time I saw Jack Frost the whole Baba Yaga sequence absolutely destroyed me.

Pork Pro
Hey, I didn't see this anywhere in the OP or the last couple of pages, so sorry if I missed it.

Like a lot of people, I watch the Turkey Day Marathon every year as a Thanksgiving Tradition! I always really enjoy my yearly mainline of MST3k, and then usually end up dipping into the Twitch stream for a few weeks after.

I've been noticing the ads for the Gizmoplex the last couple years, and this year thought "oh that sounds fun!" It looks like all of the pre-2000s shows are free to stream with an account, but that ends at the end of the year? What package offers access to that year round? I figured they'd have a $5/month tier or something but the only thing I can see that gives access to the back catalogue is $1000!?

Anywho, if I only want to watch old episodes, do I just have to buy them individually after this free streaming deal ends or does the season pass give access? If the season pass gives access, does that end when the season pass ends?

muscles like this!
Jan 17, 2005

I don't think they've officially announced what will happen after the end of the year but it sounds like they'll still be free just with ads.

In addition to what’s already been said, that $1000 package was a reward for Kickstarter backers, and it’s a technical limitation of the platform they use that they have to list these things for sale, so they just set ridiculous prices that they don’t expect people to actually pay for.
