For me the best are the ones that nobody is even contesting. Not a single chirp about someone being dumber than Magana, Garbrandt, Diego, Strickland, or Tito. That's next-tier dumb. And I like that each of these champions is a different flavour of dumb. It's like a complete first string. For Magana's case I wonder if that has something to do with people not remembering who she is, but there have been no other strawweight nominations either; they'd be wrong, too. She's dumber. She might be dumber than Tito. I remember while watching TUF wondering if it was ethical for her to be a pro fighter because she might not have the intellectual capacity to meaningfully consent to fighting. Sure, we remember "I'd rather end up in traction than tap to a twister in training," but somehow she came off as dumber than that in her natural environment just walking around, saying and doing things.

I know he had some concussion symptoms when he was meant to fight T City and had to pull out but otherwise he's been pretty healthy considering his profession. I did a quick scroll of his instagram and twitter and he hasn't mentioned anything anyway. Then again I guess if your knee was jacked up you wouldn't want guys targeting it.

Max went out of a fight with Frankie in 2018 with a leg injury, and his fight with Yair was pushed from July to November due to another Max injury, though the specifics are hard to come by

Just watched the fights from the weekend. gently caress Sean Strictland, what a jackass. He was yelling at Hermanson to fight him in the middle and calling him a loving pussy literally while he himself was moving backwards. It's like he remembered at the very end that he's supposed to be acting like a psycho. Also his coach calling him a "sick gently caress" after a round of jabbing that looked like sparring. I think the reason it annoys me is because of the video of him knocking out a sparring partner. So he bullies and goes full force against a guy who is almost certainly much worse than him, and who is going light, but when he gets in the cage he fights cautiously while doing phony pagentry completely undermined by his actions.

If this finally gets us Dudu in the UFC I'm all for it. He's a good-but-not-great former Bellator champ who's had a bunch of entertaining scraps. Maybe he can rematch Tyson Nam in the octagon (Dantas was active Bellator champ and undefeated in the organization when they let him fight in Brazil in a fundraiser show for a military police force. He got knocked out cold by Nam. lol)
