can’t sleep. I quit my miserable, soul destroying job 2 weeks ago, and i have my exit interview in the morning. last thing i have to do before i’m truly free of it, but i’m nervous for some reason. so i’m eating orange jaffa cakes from aldi while sitting on my bathroom floor at 3 am. first time i’ve ever bought them, but definitely a pro-tier midnight anxiety snack.

I had an exit interview once where they tried to convince me that my final paycheck should be lower because. They recorded it and everything. Even 22 year old me wasn't dumb enough to fall for that poo poo.

I stopped checking my email because, why should I?? and missed the second invite. I was briefly stressed until I remembered that now I’m fully free of that miserable place and they can never call me at 8pm again with install issues, never send me a fuckin ms teams chat at 11pm, never interrupt another vacation with some dumb IT bullshit. I’m free. definitely gonna order some pineapple jaffa cakes to celebrate, thx for the tip

anybody ever just eat a whole bag of froze microwave steamed vegetables im glad they're all designed for microwaving these days. it's extremely satisfying as a snack imho

I rarely snack but when I do it's like grabbing a (refrigerated Clausen dill) pickle from the fridge, chips and salsa out of the jar standing in front of the fridge, or cottage cheese out of the tub, again, while standing in front of the fridge. Sometimes I'll have Wheat Thins and Merkt's Beer Cheese spread.
